Key Responsibilities
- System Testing: Design and execute comprehensive system test suites to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Development and Qualification Testing: Conduct thorough development and qualification testing to validate system functionality and safety.
- Engineering Support: Provide support for engineering tasks, including component selection, schematic design, and documentation.
- Lab Testing and Documentation: Perform lab testing and document results accurately and in a timely manner.
- Meetings and Communication: Participate in internal and external meetings to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- On-Site Commissioning and Trials: Support occasional on-site commissioning and trials, requiring some travel.
- Low-Voltage Equipment Testing: Experience with low-voltage (under 1000V) electronic/electrical equipment testing is essential.
- Health & Safety Regulations: Understanding of Health & Safety regulations is mandatory.
- Circuit Design and Software Methodologies: Knowledge of electronic circuit design and software methodologies is preferred.
- Microsoft Office Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
- Electrical Engineering Qualifications: HNC/HND/BTEC or equivalent in electrical engineering is necessary.
- Driving License and Security Clearance: A valid driving license and ability to obtain security clearance are required.
- Flexible Work Options: Flexible work options, including hybrid and remote working where possible, are available.
