DevOps Engineer

Ingenii Search seeks an experienced DevOps Engineer on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on Windows environments, automation, XML, and Ansible.

• Manage and optimise Windows-based infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
• Design and develop automation scripts using Ansible to manage configuration and deployment across various environments.
• Create, manage, and troubleshoot complex XML configurations and data integrations.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and alerting systems to support deployment automation.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration of new applications and services into the infrastructure.
• Prior experience with Kubernetes/K8s is beneficial.
• Maintain and improve infrastructure security by implementing best practices and security tools.
• Conduct troubleshooting, incident response, and root cause analysis for infrastructure issues.
• Ensure that all infrastructure components are documented, maintainable, and scalable.

• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or similar role with a strong emphasis on Windows environments.
• Proficiency in Windows server administration and Azure.
• Extensive experience with automation tools, particularly Ansible for configuration management and deployment.
• Solid understanding of XML for data exchange, configuration, and integrations.
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure best practices.
• Ability to work independently and remotely while collaborating effectively with distributed teams.
