Senior Engineer, Vehicle Dynamics

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our team at Forseven. As a key member of our rapidly growing Dynamics department, you will be responsible for leading the integration of methods and tools to ensure a consistent approach across all programs.

This role requires strong methodological problem-solving skills, with a focus on quality and timing trade-offs. You will also be responsible for supporting program leads in ensuring that planning, delivery, and logic are standardized and clearly communicated across the business.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of vehicle dynamics and metrics, as well as experience working with ADAMS Car software. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Principal Engineer in resource, budget, and tool definition
• Lead metrics definition from subjective to specific and objective levels
• Drive day assessment tool and reporting integration in agreement with program expectations
• Ensure target setting of different programs is differentiated by product but compatible with platform commonality
• Ensure consistent component specification and vehicle setup sheets documentation across programs

Requirements:

• High theoretical vehicle dynamics knowledge
• Good understanding of customer subjective perception from objective performance data
• Medium knowledge of vehicle tuning techniques
• High understanding of K&C axle data, vehicle dynamics metrics, targets, and testing
• Good knowledge of ADAMS Car (Adams View is a plus)
