Production Manager

We are seeking a Production Manager to oversee the smooth and efficient operation of our production and maintenance processes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of skilled Production and Maintenance Technicians and other support roles, while working closely with departments such as procurement, design, logistics, H&S, facilities, projects and quality assurance.

• Factory Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, implement schedules, and monitor workflow to ensure optimal efficiency.
• Production and Maintenance Planning: Develop comprehensive production and maintenance schedules, ensuring alignment with project deadlines, quality expectations, and cost objectives.
• Team Leadership: Direct line management responsibilities for a team of skilled Production and Maintenance Technicians and other support roles.
• Budget Management: Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory standards.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Maintain peak performance while adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) Management: Minimize downtime and disruptions through effective equipment maintenance.
• Quality Control: Deliver mobile units on plan and to budget, while ensuring adherence to quality expectations.
• Process Optimisation: Adapt production and maintenance schedules to address unforeseen challenges.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field (Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management).
• IOSH Qualification or equivalent.
• Advanced qualifications desirable.
• Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven People/Teams management experience, including Contractor management essential.
• Experience producing, manufacturing, or constructing medical or healthcare facilities desirable.
• Awareness of healthcare specific technical guidance (HTM's & HBN's) would be advantageous.
