Mechanical Laser Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a Laser Technician to join our Operations team at Epure, France, providing hands-on technical support for high-power X-ray machines used in hydrodynamics experiments.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Engineering or Physics, with experience or knowledge of pulsed power systems. They will be able to work in a highly regulated environment and demonstrate exceptional team working skills.

The role involves operating and maintaining three high-power X-ray machines, as well as contributing to the analysis of diagnostics and modeling of electron beam physics. The successful candidate will also be required to obtain and maintain security clearance and be willing to relocate to France for a 5-year period.

Requirements

• Qualified in Engineering or Physics, or equivalent relevant experience
• Experience or knowledge of pulsed power systems
