Brymore is a state boarding school for boys aged 11-16, set in its own 60-acre site with working farms, gardens, workshops and sports facilities that are fully utilised in the delivery of the curriculum to over 340 students, of which 150 are boarders.
The school is currently expanding and this is an exciting time in Brymore's development.
Job DescriptionWe are looking for a well-organised, practical and understanding individual to join the Academy as a part-time Matron.
The post consists of working with house parents to ensure the smooth running of the boarding house, as well as overseeing the delivery of first aid and pastoral support to all pupils in the school.
Matrons work includes a combination of morning, afternoon and evening shifts, including one Saturday duty every 4 weeks (9am - 5.30pm).
Rotas for Matrons are planned on a 4-week rotation of duties and are part of a successful team.

We are looking for an outstanding individual who is well-organised, practical and understanding.
Candidates should have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively as part of a team and have a strong commitment to the wellbeing of all pupils.
