Job Title: Sous Chef
Location: Warner Hotels
Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to oversee the day-to-day operations of our kitchen. The successful candidate will have a passion for great food and service, with the ability to create a culture of support and encourage teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring all stations are properly organised and prepared for service.
- Supervise and train junior chefs, promoting a positive and collaborative working environment.
- Ensure food safety standards are always adhered to, including proper storage, handling, and cooking techniques.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage food costs to meet financial targets.
- Support the Head Chef in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and responding to guest feedback.
- Experience of managing orders, food stocks, and forecast against occupancy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing requirements.
- Good financial knowledge with the ability to manage costs in line with the department's budget.
- Understand the importance of working with a branded menu.
