Location: Southampton (with some travel to other sites)

Hours of Work - 40hrs -May include some weekends/on -call out of hours cover

Company Overview: We are a leading Stevedore company operating predominantly in Southampton, Portsmouth, and Liverpool. Our services include RoRo and Cruise operations such as valet parking and baggage handling. Additionally, we have a Motoprep operation located in Northampton.

Job Summary: The Group IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day IT support and infrastructure management, including networks and servers. This role involves liaising with third-party IT vendors and suppliers, managing IT projects, and ensuring information security with a focus on ISO 27001 compliance and auditing. The position reports directly to the Senior Management Team and requires occasional travel to other company sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day IT support and requests as well as overseeing the maintenance of IT infrastructure, including network and server management.

• Liaise with third-party IT vendors and suppliers to ensure seamless IT operations.

• Act as Project Manager for all IT-related projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.

• Oversee Information Security Management, with a particular focus on ISO 27001 compliance and auditing.

• Provide strategic IT guidance and support to the Senior Leadership Team.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience with ISO 27001 compliance and auditing is favourable

• Relevant IT qualifications.

• Experience using Microsoft 360 - SharePoint -One Drive - Outlook

• Familiar with The Access Group hosting services - Select Pay and RDB

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networks and servers.

• Excellent project management skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Environment:

• Office-based role with some travel required to other company sites.
