Border Security Specialist

Are you looking for a challenging career in border security? As a Customs and Border Protection Officer, you will play a vital role in safeguarding America's borders and enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws. Your work will involve detaining suspected violators of federal laws, conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances, determining the admissibility of people entering the US, preventing illegal entry of individuals and prohibited goods.

In this position you must have specialized experience equivalent to at least one (1) year including enforcing customs regulations by inspecting cargo/bags/merchandise using intelligence techniques for law enforcement purposes or having relevant education like Master's degree from an accredited college or university. You should also be aware that citizenship is mandatory with three years' residency within five years prior to application as well as age restriction under Public Law 100-238 covering positions requiring compliance with Title V U.S.C §8336(c).
