The role of a Customs Officer involves enforcing customs, immigration and agriculture laws while facilitating trade and travel.

• Enforce regulations by conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances.
• Evaluate the admissibility of individuals entering the country.

You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This includes inspecting goods, verifying documents, and making informed decisions about admissibility. In addition to these core responsibilities, you may also be involved in various other tasks such as:

• Detecting and preventing smuggling activities;


• Assisting travelers with their documentation requirements;


• Collaborating with other government agencies on matters related to border security.
