Join our team as a Shipping & Receiving Associate in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma! This is a key role within our logistics operations, responsible for managing the seamless flow of goods in and out of our facility. You will be instrumental in ensuring that shipments are processed accurately and efficiently, contributing to our overall supply chain success. Responsibilities:
- Oversee the receiving and dispatching of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Verify the accuracy of received goods against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Inspect all shipments for damage and report any issues promptly.
- Accurately record inventory movements in our system.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring quality and accuracy.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping and receiving area.
- Strictly adhere to all safety regulations, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics department.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a shipping and receiving role is highly valued.
- Ability to handle frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and proper use of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
