Providing prompt, friendly service is the top priority, and being courteous and cooperative with both customers and coworkers is essential to building long-term success./ppDuties/pulliGreet customers with a smile and a friendly attitude./liliAccurately operate all cash register functions, including handling cash, checks, credit/debit cards, gift certificates, coupons, WIC vouchers, and food benefit cards./liliScan all merchandise to ensure every item is accounted for./liliVerify customer identification when prompted by the register./liliMaintain an accurate and balanced cash drawer throughout the shift./liliEnter prices manually when items do not scan; complete Not On File forms as needed./liliBag groceries efficiently while taking care with fragile items like bread and eggs./liliKeep the register, checkout lane, and front-end area clean and organized./liliAssist customers by carrying groceries, retrieving carts, and helping other cashiers as needed./liliPerform additional tasks or cleaning duties assigned by the manager./liliAbility to lift up to 15 pounds./li/ulpQualifications/pulliMust be at least 16 years of age./liliFriendly, neat, and professional in appearance./liliStrong communication skills and a positive attitude toward customer service./liliAbility to accurately count and handle money in a fast-paced environment./liliEnjoys working with the public and contributing to a team environment./liliMust be bilingual (Spanish preferred)/li/ul/div
