About
Responsibilities
Provide operational support for the Data Control and Operation teams, including elevation requests, scheduling change requests, and ad‑hoc requests.
Support daily production batch processing and other operational activities.
Track system and operational KPIs for monthly metrics reporting.
Update run books and escalation procedures for lights‑out operations.
Provide operational support for major application deployments and system upgrades.
Review and update standard operating procedures to ensure smooth transition to reduced staff and lights‑out operations.
Monitor system and manage production batch workflow, ensuring SLAs for system availability.
Review, approve, and ensure timely processing of elevation requests.
Review, approve, and ensure timely processing of scheduling change requests.
Review, approve, and ensure timely processing of ad‑hoc requests.
Produce monthly operational metrics reports.
Gather weekly changes and inform business entities about changes.
Manage incidents, create tickets in Remedy Force system.
Participate in daily turnover meetings with application developers to review batch incidents and resolutions.
Provide off‑hour on‑call support for operation related incidents.
Qualifications
8+ years of related experience in mainframe administration.
Strong knowledge of mainframe computers, operating systems, support, and technologies.
US citizenship required.
