Weekly Estimated Pay: $9,970 - $10,680
Location: Medford, OR (97504) - Southern Oregon / Rogue Valley
Setting: Inpatient hospital onsite with call coverage (Level 3 Trauma)
Shift Duration: 12-hour days (8am-8am; onsite 8am-5pm, beeper call 5pm-8am)
Minimum Shifts Required: 7 shifts per month
Patient Encounters Per Shift: 6-10
Start Date: September 1, 2026
End Date: Ongoing (open-ended locum tenens opportunity)
Job Requirements - Interventional Cardiologist Active Oregon medical license required
Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology (Interventional Cardiologist)
DEA license required
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of experience in interventional cardiology
Current CV must be provided
Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology preferred
Estimated credentialing timeframe: 90 days
Responsibilities - Interventional Cardiology Physician Provide inpatient interventional cardiology care onsite as a locum tenens physician
Participate in weeknight beeper and 24-hour weekend beeper call coverage
Manage 6-10 patient encounters per shift, including urgent and emergent cardiac cases
Collaborate with hospital staff, cath lab teams, and consulting physicians for comprehensive patient care
Respond to STEMI activations and other emergent cardiac interventions as needed
Maintain accurate and timely documentation, adhering to hospital policies and compliance standards
Perform procedures and clinical decision-making typical of interventional cardiology practice (cardiac cath lab coordination, percutaneous coronary intervention when indicated)
