- Design and integrate mechatronic systems for complex medical products
- Define and implement technical requirements and specifications
- Develop safe, reliable concepts for mechanical, mechatronics and system integration
- Create 3D models, engineering drawings, and technical documentation
- Plan and execute testing, verification, and validation activities
- Optimize designs for cost, quality, and performance
- Support prototyping, system setup, and product lifecycle improvements
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, suppliers, and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with international standards and regulatory requirements
- Masters's degree in Mechatronics or Mechanical engineering with concentration studies on mechatronics
- At least 7 years of professional experience in the development of systems and equipment, preferably medical devices
- Advanced knowledge in the design of mechanical and mechatronic systems
- Experience in the field of sensors, actuators and system regulation
- Proficiency in CAD design tools preferably PTC Pro/ENGINEER (Creo), Eplan cabling
- Solid experience in the manufacturing‑oriented design of mechanical as well as mechatronics assemblies
- In‑depth knowledge of production methods and process engineering for mechanical and mechatronic parts and assemblies
- Experience in preparing technical reference documentation
- Experience in requirements management and systems engineering using DOORS, Polarion or CodeBeamer
- Creativity and analytical skills
- Hands-on mentality and ability to work and contribute in a team environment.
- Standards knowledge: ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR 820.30, IEC 14971, IEC 62366, IEC 60601
- Knowledge in ERP system; Preferably Infor SyteLine
- Knowledge in Multiphysics simulation, FEM
