Role Overview:

The Mechanical/Electrical Technician will ensure all departmental mechanical and electrical equipment operates consistently, reliably, and at peak efficiency. Diagnostics and issue resolution will be conducted, with a focus on performance both today and in the future. Expertise will be essential for implementing modifications and innovations to continually enhance equipment performance.

• Evaluate and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment operation, ensuring it meets production demands.
• Perform routine maintenance and immediate repairs on production equipment to prevent downtime.
• Proactively identify defects and take corrective actions as needed to ensure equipment reliability.
• Collaborate with the team to develop and implement performance improvements and modifications.
• Identify critical spare parts and manage inventory levels in the Engineering Stores to ensure availability.
• Contribute positively to the training and development of production and engineering personnel.

• Competent in mechanical or electrical engineering, with a thorough understanding of site-specific equipment and processes.
• Proven experience in diagnosing and correcting equipment issues within an industrial setting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance and repairs.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a focus on collaboration and training.
