Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Tester with 2 to 5 years of experience in manual or standard testing methodologies. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in Python and some exposure to automation testing.

This role will ensure the quality and functionality of streaming music platforms, particularly on mobile devices running various operating systems including iOS, MacOS, Android, Linux, and UNIX.

• Perform comprehensive manual testing to ensure the quality and functionality of streaming music applications.
• Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various testing phases.
• Identify, document, and track defects and issues using a defect-tracking tool.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand application features and requirements.
• Assist in developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Python to enhance testing efficiency.
• Conduct root cause analysis of identified defects and provide comprehensive documentation.
• Participate in test planning, estimation, and test case review sessions.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and provide recommendations for improvement.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in manual or standard testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and test automation purposes.
• Basic understanding of automation testing frameworks and tools, API or UI.
• Familiarity with streaming music platforms and mobile devices.
• Knowledge of Linux and/or UNIX operating systems.

• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Understanding of continuous integration/continuous deployment practices.
• Experience with audio or media streaming technologies.
