Your Role
As an IT Senior Specialist, you will work closely with our team to execute local IT projects, provide solutions to issues, and manage stakeholders. Your primary responsibility is to deliver high-level customer care to colleagues and visiting BCG clients.
You will report directly to the Local IT Manager and work in a fast-paced environment. You will apply and interpret rules and guidelines flexibly to enrich the business and align with BCG's values and culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Provide on-site technology support for all assigned BCG teams in various environments (home, office, etc.)
- Tailored Solutions: Support the BCG user community by providing tailored solutions for their technology needs
- Laptop Deployment: Prepare and deploy laptops for staff, including configuration and data migration
- Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate repair and maintenance of office printers and computing equipment with outside vendors
- Video Conference Setup: Oversee and troubleshoot video conference and telecommunications systems
- Project Work: Plan and work on operational projects, evaluating existing systems and recommending upgrades or replacements
- Reporting: Compile reports on IT dashboard, inventory tracking, service assessments, and other technical issues
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and log technical issues received via phone call or ticket
What We're Looking For
We are looking for individuals with excellent customer service skills, a self-starting attitude, and professionalism. You should be able to respect confidential information and work independently as well as in a team environment.
Your Qualifications:
- Technical Experience: Broad experience in PC/laptop hardware, software, telecommunications, mobile devices, networking, and server administration
- Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose problems and provide solutions or escalate to the appropriate expertise area
- Communication: Excellent oral and written English communication skills
- ITIL Foundation Certification: ITIL Foundation certified (v3 or v4) or clear understanding of the ITIL system and ticketing process
- Cloud Technology: Exposure to cloud technology and experience working with teams
Work Environment
