Our client, a prestigious four-star hotel located just minutes from Cork City Centre and Cork Airport, is seeking an experienced
Deputy General Manager
to join their team. The property is also a short 30‑minute drive from Kinsale, a gateway to The Wild Atlantic Way.
Role Overview
The Deputy GM will have full operational responsibility for all Food & Beverage areas, including the restaurant, café bar, and functions. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven hospitality professional looking to take the next step in their career within a dynamic and high‑standard hotel environment.
This is a full‑time role based on a
5-over‑7 day working week , including weekends. Flexibility with working hours is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Support the General Manager with strategic planning and operational execution.
Oversee day‑to‑day Food & Beverage operations.
Lead and motivate departmental heads to ensure consistent service excellence.
Drive staff development and succession planning to build a high‑performing team.
Maintain the highest standards of customer care throughout the property.
Contribute to profitability, cost management, and operational efficiency.
Candidate Profile
Minimum 3–4 years’ experience as a Deputy or Operations Manager within a hotel environment.
Strong focus on standards, particularly in Food & Beverage operations.
Demonstrated leadership and ability to motivate and develop teams.
Excellent communicator, comfortable influencing at all levels of the business.
Ambitious and committed to career progression in hospitality. xcfaprz
Fluent English required; must be resident in Ireland or hold a valid work permit.
