As a Technical Delivery Manager, you will own and deliver the infrastructure projects and business enabling work. The role will include work on a roadmaps and portfolios of work that delivers and improves the P2U infrastructure across all sites and all countries. You will focus on creating and committing to a delivery plan for all the strategic infrastructure pieces of work. You will also work within service operations to deliver projects as part of the service improvement roadmap.

What you’ll be doing?
Designing and planning the initiation of the projects, ensuring the scope is captured documented and communicated to the team members and key stakeholders
Designing, planning, coordinating and leading the Technical Work Stream and assigned team to deliver according to success factors and set goals
Handling the day-to-day management of the project including executive reporting, risk & issue management, resourcing, critical issues, and engagement with internal and external partners
Working in partnership with stakeholders to ensure communications are relevant and effective
Driving and supporting ongoing compliance to IT standards across delivered infrastructure services
Managing and tracking budget, provide an ongoing challenge around scope and submit changes to the budget authorisation process as required
Identifing and sourcing the required resources, either external or internal, as well as monitoring and managing their performance throughout the project, providing corrective supervision if necessary
Protecting the business experience through strong change management discipline and adherence to security standards
Ensuring adherence to the company’s governance frameworks for change apply across all the project
Understanding high-level technical architecture and be able to facilitate debate and drive decisions on appropriate solutions
Managing the project administration and the production of project documentation, e.g. project plans
Anticipating, managing and resolving issues and act as the point of contact for the project
Who are we looking for?
Experience in application support, ideally within an ITIL framework
Experience of agile development/delivery teams and technical delivery management
A background contributing to the delivery of infrastructure projects
Significant exposure to managing projects and previous experience delivering complex infrastructure projects;
Strong leadership skills and be confident working with virtual teams. A track record of managing third parties and multi-vendor teams across multiple project activities
Understanding of core IT policies, standards and processes and their importance in delivering a good service to the business
Stakeholder management across the organisation and within a global function
Working knowledge of GDPR and an appreciation for data governance standards, controls and requirements and how they are factored into design activity
