We are seeking an experienced Project / Study Manager with a strong mining capital projects background to support a major water management infrastructure project. This role focused on feasibility-stage engineering, CAPEX development, and project readiness, with the opportunity to carry the project forward into execution.
This position will play a critical role in managing engineering consultants, advancing feasibility study deliverables, and supporting internal funding approvals.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate external engineering consultants through feasibility study (FS) completion
- Support development of Class 3 CAPEX estimates
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules
- Prepare internal tollgate and project funding documentation
- Ensure technical deliverables meet project and operational requirements
- Provide project leadership through study phase and transition into execution
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and report to the Senior Program Manager
Requirements
Required:
- Strong background in mining capital projects
- Experience working at feasibility study (FS) or study phase level
- Demonstrated experience managing engineering consultants
- Experience developing CAPEX estimates and project schedules
- Strong technical, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
- Engineering degree or equivalent relevant experience
Preferred:
- Experience with water management or mine infrastructure projects
- Experience supporting internal project approvals and tollgate processes
- Professional Engineering designation (P.Eng) or eligibility considered an asset
