The Role
Simpson Print is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Warehouse & Shipping Coordinator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced printing factory. The successful candidate will coordinate and oversee all warehouse activities to ensure operational excellence and reports into the Plant Manager.
This role works closely with customer service, production, and sales teams to ensure a smooth flow of goods along with warehouse efficiency. This role requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and a proactive approach to solving warehouse & logistics challenges. As a part of a dedicated team, you will play a key role in meeting customer deadlines and expectations. Responsibilities
Oversee all daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, staging, and dispatch.
Optimize space utilization, workflow, and inventory turnover.
Ensure safe handling and proper storage of materials and finished goods.
Manage outbound shipping for local, regional, and international deliveries.
Coordinate with carriers and couriers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
Prepare bills of lading, packing slips, customs documentation, and shipping labels.
Track and resolve delivery issues or damages in transit.
Foster a team-oriented environment with a focus on accountability and safety.
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality.
Collaborate with customer service, production, and sales teams to meet delivery expectations.

Skills and Competencies
Strong knowledge of warehouse processes, shipping documentation, and transportation coordination.
Proficiency in inventory management systems and warehouse software (ERP/MIS such as Accura).
Familiarity with barcode scanning and warehouse management tools.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to lift and move materials as needed.
Forklift certification and comfort operating warehouse equipment.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
Comfortable navigating between the office and the factory floor.
Experience in manufacturing, print, or custom-order environments is an asset.
Education and Experience
Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred: College diploma or certificate in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
5 years of experience in warehouse and shipping (printing industry experience is an asset).
Knowledge of supply chain principles and quality control processes.
Working Conditions
On-site role in a busy production environment.
Must be comfortable navigating between office and factory floor.

Compensation
$26 to $28 per hour with benefits package
