I run a WooCommerce-based website that has grown quite a bit over the past year, and I'm now at the point where I need a solid WordPress developer to help clean things up and move it forward.
This isn't a "build from scratch" job. The site is live and working. What I need is someone who's comfortable getting into an existing setup and improving it without breaking things.
There are a few custom plugins in place, some older PHP logic that probably needs refactoring, and a couple of areas where performance could be better. I'd also like someone who understands technical SEO - not content writing, but things like structure, speed impact, metadata handling, schema, etc.
You should be:
- Comfortable working as a WordPress developer inside live environments
- Confident with custom plugin development
- Strong in PHP
- Able to spot performance or structural issues
- Proactive - not just waiting for instructions
This could turn into long-term work if we're a good fit.
Please share examples of similar work and briefly describe what kind of WordPress projects you usually handle.
