I am looking for an experienced freelance technical designer to help bring my designs to life. I currently have detailed hand-drawn front and back sketches for multiple styles, including sports bras, leggings, shorts, compression tanks. I am seeking someone who can professionally translate these sketches into clean digital technical flats and develop full, manufacturer-ready tech packs.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience working specifically with activewear or athleisure and a strong understanding of stretch and compression fabrics. This role will involve creating detailed technical flats, adding garment construction notes and seam callouts, building measurement specifications and size charts, outlining fabric and trim details, and clearly defining logo placement and stitching requirements. Experience preparing tech packs for overseas manufacturers is important, as I want these documents to be production-ready.
I am looking for someone who is detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable offering technical insight to improve fit, functionality, and overall garment construction. Please include samples of previous tech packs (especially activewear, if possible), your hourly or per-style rate, and an estimated timeline for completion.
Contract duration of 1 to 3 months. with 10 hours per week.
