Border Security Professional

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals who are passionate about protecting America's borders. As a Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officer, you will play a vital role in safeguarding the country by enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws.

As a CBP officer, your primary responsibility will be to enforce laws related to importing and exporting merchandise. You will also conduct inspections of individuals and conveyances to determine their admissibility into the United States. Additionally, you may be required to detain suspected violators of federal, state or local laws.

• You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level that includes detaining suspected violators of federal, state or local laws; enforcing laws relating to importing/exporting merchandise; utilizing intelligence techniques/behavior analysis; conducting interviews in law enforcement capacity.

• Newly appointed officers can earn up to $15,000 recruitment incentive per year for three-year service contract in certain locations.
