You have a unique opportunity to join the Department of Homeland Security workforce and become a Customs and Border Protection Officer. As a CBPO, you will be part of an elite team responsible for safeguarding our nation by enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws.

Our officers work closely with other federal agencies to prevent illegal entry into the United States, smuggling of contraband goods, and narcotics trafficking. You will also play a critical role in facilitating legitimate trade and travel while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

• Enforcing customs regulations at ports of entry
• Inspecting cargo shipments for contraband or prohibited items
