Our San Diego, California facility is looking for experienced Warehouse Associates to join our thriving logistics operations. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to the efficient movement and storage of goods. Your contributions will be vital to our supply chain's success, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and accurately store incoming inventory.
- Process outgoing orders by picking, packing, and preparing them for shipment.
- Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals within our logistics framework.
- Support other warehouse functions as needed.
- Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Associate or in a similar logistics role is required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively and stand for extended periods.
- Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment is essential.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems and inventory control principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
