Location: Waxahachie, TX, 75165

Shift: 8 hr Days | 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Guaranteed Hours: (40 hours/week)

Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver prescribed doses of radiation to specific body parts using radiation therapy equipment.
• Accurately position patients and apply immobilization devices as necessary to ensure precision in treatment.
• Monitor patients during procedures to observe reactions and address any complications.
• Maintain precise treatment records and ensure compliance with institutional and regulatory standards.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.
• Perform quality control procedures on equipment and report any malfunctions.
• Educate patients and families on the treatment process, side effects, and post-therapy care.

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
• Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiation Therapy (ARRT-T).
• Valid state license as a Radiation Therapist in Texas.
• Prior experience in a clinical radiation oncology setting.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
