Our Service Technicians are responsible to diagnose all aspects of the HVAC system, provide service and repair, give customers options and pricing, service upgrades, and collect payment upon completion while providing exceptional customer service at ALL times by treating customers with the utmost respect and attention. This position will provide HVAC repair and services with an emphasis on quality of work, performed efficiently and following all applicable local and national codes. ResponsibilitiesWhat Will I Do?Successfully perform routine maintenance on residential heating and air conditioning systems Operate a variety of hand and power tools to inspect repair, and conduct maintenance on furnaces, condensers, and compressorsBuild client relationships by providing outstanding service through strong communication and customer service skills Identify opportunities for clients to improve their home comfort systems through product overview Complete all tasks in accordance with quality and safety standards Increase customer loyalty by maintaining a clean working areaEducate your clients on maintenance requirements and offer appropriate upgrades that you can complete immediately or at scheduled timeEngage in conversation with the homeowner to uncover any concern or interests regarding their AC, plumbing or electrical systemsUnderstand company pricing program and generate appropriate customer invoices and other paperwork at the job site and electronically process credit card paymentsAccurately estimate and invoice repairs and projectsDocument work completed with before and after photosEffectively communicate with all internal and external customersMaintain good working order of company vehicleMaintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle.Travel to job sites in the service area, and work with dispatch to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to the customerDemonstrate safe working practices and methods.Participate in company-provided training opportunities on customer service and the latest industry technologies.Work with apprentices and entry-level installers to coach and mentor.
QualificationsDo I have What it Takes?The following are REQUIRED for consideration: Minimum 5+ years of experience in residential HVAC service conducting maintenance, diagnosing & troubleshooting, and correcting diverse HVAC system issuesMechanical aptitude Working knowledge of city codes Integrity and the ability to promote a positive company imageAbility to perform physically demanding tasks on a daily basisResults driven in a high-energy environmentDetail oriented with good time management skillsCan lift, carry, and maneuver a minimum of 75 pounds without additional manpower or appropriate deviceMust be able to work in the outside elements of heat and cold safely and on ladders and/or roofs medium to high heightsMaintain well-groomed appearance and keep a clean uniform and work shoesAbility to work independently in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly the first timeAbility to crawl in tight places and climb ladders; work in attics, garages, crawl spaces, and on roofs Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with a strong desire to exceed customer expectationsWrench Group and its affiliates are proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
