You will evaluate and treat patients in a clinic focused on quality care, functional outcomes, and long-term recovery. Evaluate and treat patients in an outpatient orthopedic physical therapy setting. Create individualized treatment plans based on patient goals, diagnosis, function, and clinical presentation. Deliver hands-on, patient-centered care focused on movement, strength, mobility, balance, pain reduction, and long-term function. Progress patients safely through exercise, manual therapy, therapeutic activity, neuromuscular re-education, and functional training. Educate patients on their condition, recovery plan, home exercise program, and long-term wellness. Document patient evaluations, progress notes, daily visits, and discharge summaries clearly and on time. Collaborate with other clinicians, support staff, referring providers, and leadership to support patient outcomes. Maintain a clean, safe, and professional treatment environment. Support clinic growth through strong patient relationships, quality outcomes, and a positive patient experience. Participate in team communication, clinical development, and process improvement as needed. Skills
Strong outpatient orthopedic evaluation and treatment skills. Clinical reasoning skills with the ability to adjust treatment plans based on patient progress. Clear communication with patients, coworkers, referring providers, and care team members. Strong manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and functional rehabilitation knowledge. Ability to build trust with patients and create a positive therapy experience. Good time management and organization during a full clinic schedule. Comfortable documenting in an EMR system. Patient-first mindset focused on quality care, outcomes, and consistency. Team-oriented approach with the ability to work independently. Interest in continued learning, mentorship, clinical growth, and specialty development. Qualifications
Active New Mexico Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one. Doctor of Physical Therapy degree preferred. Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program. Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred. New graduates with strong clinical rotations in outpatient orthopedics are encouraged to apply. BLS or CPR certification preferred.
