Overview
GovCIO is currently hiring for a Database Administrator to support our US Mint program. This position will be located in Washington, DC and will be a hybrid remote position.
Responsibilities
Assist Sr. DBA in design, configuration, deployment, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Oracle and SQL databases.
Experience in optimizing database performance and security.
Design, configure, deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain Oracle and SQL databases.
Apply practical skills, training, and experience to ensure database reliability and performance.
Qualifications
High School with 6 - 9 years (or commensurate experience)
Required Skills and Experience
Strong understanding of Oracle and SQL database design, configuration, deployment, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Practical skills and training in database administration.
At least one of the following certifications At least one certification(s) prior to onboarding and the second within six months: Microsoft Certified Azure database Administrator Associates Professional, Oracle Certified Associate.

Microsoft Certified Azure Database Administrator Associate Professional
Clearance Required: US Citizenship is required to attain and maintain US Mint Public Trust
Preferred Skills and Experience
Associate degree in a relevant field - preferred.
Posted Salary Range
USD $65,000.00 - USD $85,000.00 /Yr.

Posted Pay Range
The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity.
