This position will complete speech and language evaluations/due process paperwork within the Monticello Public Schools. Case manage students and provide direct and indirect services to students. The speech-language pathologist will collaborate with other service providers. License & Experience:
Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the State of Minnesota Valid Minnesota Driver's License Knowledge and experience working with students with speech and language impairments Experience working with students and families Essential Skills:
Knowledge and experience completing assessments and due process and follow timeline requirements of special education Experience completing Part C and Part B evaluations Must be able to assure and implement state and federal laws, statutes, rules and regulations pertaining to special education Team oriented approach when working with students, colleagues, families, and administrators Effective communication and teaming skills, both verbally and in writing, with students, parents, teachers, administrators, community and staff Establishes a culture for learning by supporting the mission, beliefs and the strategic plan of the district Inspires and engages all students in relevant learning Maintain confidentiality of information about students, staff and families Experience working with diverse students and families - experience/training with CLR (Culturally Linguistically Responsive) methods preferred Salary Range: $44,182 - $90,327 Apply online at Monticello Schools Employment Opportunities Attachment(s): Special Education Teacher JD.pdf
