Schedule - Shift: 3x12 variable - Ambulatory clinic hours: Mon-Fri 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Assignment Details - Guaranteed hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks
Requirements - Minimum 2 years of EEG tech experience - Required certifications: BLS, R.EEGT (Registered EEG Technologist) - Valid state license required
Roles & Responsibilities - Set up and perform EEGs for various patient populations including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics - Prepare EEG readings for interpretation by neurology providers - Communicate effectively with medical staff regarding EEG findings - Perform long-term video monitoring and seizure studies - Conduct electrode placement and portable recordings in ICU/ward settings - Administer sleep and sleep-deprived EEGs
