Schedule Rotating shift schedules with 12-hour shifts (Days, Evenings, and Nights) are available, with the possibility to accommodate 48 hours per week. Job Description The Operating Room Surgical Technician provides essential support in a busy Operating Room environment, caring for a diverse patient population across various specialties including orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma in a Level 1 Trauma Center. The technician will assist in procedures utilizing advanced technologies, including two Davinci robots, and is involved in a transplant program involving organs such as livers, kidneys, and hearts. ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain the sterile field during surgical procedures. Assist surgeons and other medical staff during operations. Handle instruments and equipment necessary for various surgeries. Ensure proper patient safety and compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with surgical teams to facilitate efficient and effective patient care. Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureNBSTSA Certification or 10 years of experience as a Surgical Technician. Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a surgical capacity. Operating room experience in a Level 1 trauma center is highly desired. BLS Certification from the American Heart Association is required. Able to scrub during surgeries. Why ARMStaffing?
