Utilize radiographic and CT techniques to produce exceptional diagnostic images that aid in physician evaluations Engage with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure precise diagnosis Employ correct positioning of patients and adjust equipment for superior image quality Adhere to radiation safety standards to protect patients and staff Maintain meticulous records, including imaging logs and equipment upkeep Deliver empathetic care during the imaging procedure Promote a safe, organized, and effective imaging workspace Educational Background
An Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is required; a Bachelor's is advantageous Successful completion of an accredited radiology program Mandatory Certifications
ARRT certification in CT and/or Radiography is required Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment Valued Skills
Expertise in diagnostic imaging practices and safety regulations Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with both patients and healthcare team Adeptness in fast-paced settings, with a talent for adjusting to new challenges Attention to detail and a solid sense of responsibility Comfortable with PACS, RIS, and other contemporary imaging technologies What Awaits You
