As a phlebotomist, you will be responsible for accurately collecting and handling specimens, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining specimen integrity. Your expertise will be vital in managing patient interactions and supporting laboratory operations.
Perform patient registration, payment collection, and data entry of demographic and insurance information Transfer patient test requests into the Hospital Information System (HIS) and Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) Resolve unclear test orders by contacting healthcare professionals and documenting actions Generate lists and labels, run daily reports, and review order monitors Assess orders for special collection requirements and perform phlebotomy using two patient identifiers Collect and label specimens accurately, ensuring aseptic technique and specimen integrity Perform specialized sample collections and limited waived testing Drive to client sites or patient homes for specimen collection and transportation Assist with inventory management and supply acquisition Need 3 years experience in setting Apply today and let Capstone Health help you reach your full potential!
