Assignment Length: 3-6 months with possibility of extension
Start Date: September 1, 2026
Shifts per Week: 5 (8-hour day shifts)
Schedule: No call, no weekends; full-time coverage required
Weekly Estimated Pay: $9,980 - $10,520 (competitive locum tenens pay)
Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days (credentialing assistance available)
EMR: Epic
Location: Fort Worth, TX 76132 - Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) metro area, North Texas anesthesiology job
Job Requirements - Anesthesiologist Jobs Minimum 1 year clinical experience as an anesthesiologist; locum tenens experience a plus
Board certified or board eligible in Anesthesiology
Current and unrestricted medical license for Texas or ability to obtain one
Proficiency in regional anesthesia techniques, including peripheral nerve blocks and spinals
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills in perioperative settings
Comfortable using Epic EMR for documentation and communication
Responsibilities - Anesthesiology Duties Provide perioperative anesthesia care across a range of cases: orthopedics, orthopedic spine, general surgery, gynecologic surgery, urology, GI, minor vascular, and breast surgery
Perform regional anesthesia and neuraxial techniques (blocks, spinals) for surgical patients
Medical direction of anesthesia care team when required
Collaborate with surgeons, OR nurses, CRNAs, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in Epic EMR and communicate effectively during handoffs
