Schedule 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Job Description The Registered Nurse on our Level 3 Medical-Surgical Unit cares for a diverse patient population consisting of complex medical conditions and co-morbidities such as infectious diseases, oncology, behavioral health, Hospice, and end of life care. The 26-bed unit is a fast-paced environment that will challenge both graduate and experienced nurses intellectually. Level 3 is also pioneering a new and exciting Virtual Nursing staffing model which allows a team approach to patient care, allowing the RN more time at the bedside and less time on documentation. ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with other members of the healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized written plans of care based on thorough assessments. Utilize the Clinical Practice Model (CPM) and the Caring-Quality Model to meet patients' changing needs and goals. Seek life-long learning through certification, advanced practice, higher education, and literature review. Demonstrate leadership through sharing of knowledge and serving as a clinical resource and professional role model. Communicate effectively through collegial relationships and interdisciplinary communication using SBAR. Exhibit enhanced time management skills and assist others to contribute to the overall performance of the team. Perform other duties consistent with the purpose of the job as directed by general and unit-specific competency-based objectives. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure2+ years of RN Endo Experience (REQUIRED) BLS Certification (AHA) Valid RN license in Michigan Why ARMStaffing?
