The Sales Development Representative will play a key role in supporting the Business Development Sales team with an emphasis on identifying and engaging potential leads, targets, and prospects. This role is responsible for showcasing HSP's capabilities, benefits, and value proposition in all interactions to generate leads and meetings by leveraging our current relationships and contributing to the growth of business opportunities. Location: Los Angeles, CA Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the following: Follow up on cold and warm leads to further the sales process and set introductory meetings or identify the process to become a supplier to new client accounts Conduct routine outbound outreach activities to generate appointments and engage prospective leads. Leverage your proven sales skills to engage qualified clients through adopted and proven successful sales techniques Leverage the necessary technical and industry knowledge required to establish credibility with client contacts at multiple levels Perform research and gather background information on new prospects Ability to strike up conversation and build rapport with clients to develop and manage sales opportunities Document daily sales activity and progress in the CRM tool as required by the Leadership Team Prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment to meet evolving business needs. Review, proofread, and edit written materials in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel to ensure accuracy and quality. Draft clear and effective written communications, including outreach messaging and proposal content. Apply critical thinking to proactively identify and implement solutions to drive sales development efforts. Develop compelling messaging to effectively engage prospective leads. Test and analyze various outreach approaches to determine the most effective strategies. Meet required sales activity metrics on a quarterly and annual basis Other duties may be assigned Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience Minimum of 2+ years of work experience within Sales Development Previous experience as a Business Development Specialist in a related industry. Previous experience with a CRM system such as Salesforce Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel Core Knowledge and Skills: Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed set targets. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive insights. Capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Supervisory Responsibilities: This position will not have any direct supervisory responsibilities Salary Range: $48,900 - $61,200 annually, depending on experience and geographic location, plus eligibility for incentive pay, subject to plan terms.
