Your contributionYou will support & analyze purchase of direct material (Core collection) for MEMESA production needs. Manage TFS legal and environmental requirements according to the EU laws and OECD regulations. Manage our transport resources to ensure and optimize deliveries to MEMESA Smelter.
Responsibilities: What you will do- Support Lead business unit (LBU) team, looking for opportunities & daily management of our supplier portfolio.
- Control inbound data versus plant production needs. Set appropriate logistic flows (acid control, Bins/Bulk operations, and mavericks’ strategy, etc....) to support local procurement team.
- Supervise MEMESA plant needs according to production outlook.
- Develop Transport strategy (Cost / Suppliers selection). Manage & negotiate Core collection transport.
- Support local procurement team with E-Procurement system (SAP orders & stat , Konzmann, Zycus and other IT tools).
- Manage supplier accounts: Data base management, legal compliance, invoicing, etc.
- Assist local LBU business to meet all legal and environmental requirements according to the EU laws and OECD. Support regulations & transboundary movement of recoverable waste.
- Development and maintenance of KPI dashboard.
- Development and Monitoring of Notification status for all approved lanes.
- Optimization of Inbound of Cores and communication with MeMesa and suppliers to avoid unloading bottlenecks.
- Introduce a formal claim management process to tackle deviations on quality, acid density or compliance topics.
- Min.2-3 years of experience in industrial procurement department or another industrial sector.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office and experience with SAP.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment with international stakeholders.
- Fluent Spanish & English. Other language skills will be a plus.
