divh2Personal Lines Agent/h2pThe Personal Lines Agent at Outer Banks Insurance Agency Inc. is responsible for maintaining solid customer relationships by handling personal lines insurance coverage inquiries and concerns with speed and professionalism through daily interaction with customers, insurance carriers, and fellow employees while conducting specific service and marketing activities./ppCompetitive Pay/ppProfessional Development/ppJob Stability in a growing industry/ppIdentify, qualify, and develop personal insurance opportunities with new and existing clients in person, online, by phone, and through written communication./ppFoster and maintain excellent relationships with clients and prospects through regular follow-up, accurate and timely quotations, and general account support. Anticipate, respond to, and follow up on all existing client needs./ppActively prospect, round accounts, and solicit increases in existing client coverage as well as network for new clients, including win backs./ppObtain best coverage/rate for insured, process quotes, and bind insurance coverage; follow up as necessary with inspection, photos, and other documentation. Present policies to insured and educate them on coverages and rates./ppSupport and prepare clients for renewal and retention, and maintain strong client relationships./ppAnticipate, respond to, and follow up on all existing client needs./ppMonitor, review, and report on key metrics to ensure sales targets are achieved, and execute sales activity documentation in a timely, accurate, and professional manner./ppCollaborate with team members, mentor staff, provide expertise and answer questions, and participate in formal and informal meetings as needed./ppMaintain CE and participate in ongoing education and keep informed regarding industry information, new product information, legislation, coverages and technology to continuously improve knowledge and performance./ppHold the insurance license required by NC and have a minimum of two years personal lines insurance account management experience./ppDemonstrate strong knowledge of insurance products and usages, rating procedures, underwriting procedures, coverages, and industry operations to effectively manage, maintain, and write assigned clients and prospects./ppDemonstrate strong customer focus and an excellent phone manner; display strong written and verbal communication skills as well as possess excellent math and reading skills to accurately perform simple calculations./ppHave the ability and tact to handle difficult customer phone calls and solve complex problems without direct supervision./ppHave a strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, organization, multi-tasking, and time management skills./ppTechnology and Computer proficiency including agency management systems./ppCompensation: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year/ppIf youre looking for a career that offers flexibility, job stability, strong compensation, and more, then youve come to the right place!
