Overview The Java Developer will be involved in development within the Store Systems team of Ascena. Retail experience, specifically experience with POS development and credit card experience, will be key to success on this engagement.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years experience in application development utilizing JAVA, J2EE, Spring, SQL, Web Services
Desired Experience
Track record of successful system and project implementations, and experience integrating with Oracle applications, leveraging new technologies in a dynamic team environment
Experience in a retail environment
Nice to have experience with ORPOS or similar POS system
Ability to adapt to a fast paced international project
Must be able to command the attention and respect of highly technical associates
Ability to navigate technical issues and evaluate risk
Demonstrated track record of successful system and project implementations
Excellent organization skills and attention to detail, including the ability to prioritize and manage a variety of complex projects and activities
Strong problem solving, analysis, design and testing skills
