In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Set up and track costs for various development projects and monitor the different phases of development
  • Actively participate in the month-end process: preparing month-end journal entries, analyzing the profitability of products sold and variances, analyzing various accounts, and reconciling projects, inventory, and fixed assets
  • Determine, propose, and recommend bid prices and price list revisions related to your business sector and ensure periodic updates
  • Participate in the annual audit and year-end inventory count
  • Perform inventory adjustments
  • Participate in the development of management tools
  • Serve as a resource person for your sector with respect to users of financial information

Profile

With the following skills and qualities, you will thrive in this role:


  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • Experience in similar roles
  • Proficiency with MS Office software in a Windows environment, particularly Excel
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team player
  • Ability to work with precision and organization
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

And these qualifications will help you make an even greater impact:
  • Hold a CPA designation or be in the process of obtaining one
  • Experience with an ERP system
  • Knowledge of the manufacturing industry
