Develop automation for cloud lifecycle management and operational improvements. Good understanding of object oriented design. Good understanding of API interaction between systems. Ability to develop programs to interact with APIs in one of the following languages: Python, Golang. Experience with Gitlab, runners and webhooks, and artifactory is preferred. Experience with workflow engines in a development or user capacity (Stackstorm, Itential, Ansible Tower, etc.). Understanding of data models, including YANG. Understanding of templates, including Jinja2. Expected to establish and maintain proficiency on emerging technologies through self-study and on-the-job training. Escalate issues and defects as necessary to vendors. Work directly with architects on research and design efforts. Good understanding of all virtualization types. Basic OS and database administration knowledge. Good networking experience, and understanding of data center, cloud, or service provider networks preferred. Linux expertise is a nice to have, Linux basic knowledge required. Passion for cloud software, tooling and automation; comfort with command line tools and scripting. Experience working with integration scripting technologies (Terraform, Ansible). 3-5 years of experience in any combination of software development, network engineering, network operations, network architecture, dev ops engineering.
