Location: El Dorado, KS Start Date: 07/06/2026 Shift: 8 Hour Days (Flexible hours between 7:00 am – 5:00 pm) Duration: Permanent placement (overlap for training begins 07/15/2026) Hours per Week: 40 hours guaranteed Employment Type: Full-time, permanent Licenses/Certifications: Kansas state license required Experience Needed: Minimum 2 years outpatient therapy experience, orthopedic knowledge of upper extremity, manual therapy preferred, willingness to float to inpatient and home health settings
Pay & Benefits
Hourly Rate: Starting at $35.00/hour, negotiable based on experience Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 with a 2-year commitment Pay Schedule: Weekly pay via direct deposit Benefits Include:

What You'll Do
Provide outpatient occupational therapy services focusing on orthopedic needs, particularly upper extremity rehab Assess patients and develop individualized treatment plans Manage therapy sessions for inpatient and outpatient populations Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Adapt and float between inpatient, outpatient, and home health settings as needed Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech charting system Support patient recovery and functional independence
What You Need
Valid Kansas state license in Occupational Therapy Minimum 2 years outpatient therapy experience Strong orthopedic knowledge, manual therapy experience preferred Ability to float and work across inpatient and home health settings Excellent communication and teamwork skills
About the Assignment This position is based at a welcoming small community hospital located approximately 30 minutes northeast of Wichita, near Lake El Dorado and within easy driving distance to Kansas City. The hospital offers a friendly environment with 49 licensed beds, and the role involves providing comprehensive occupational therapy services to diverse patient populations in a supportive community setting.
