Business Development Representative (BDR)

SIB | SpendBrain helps organizations optimize spend and drive sustainable cost savings through proprietary data, AI-driven analytics, and decades of category expertise. Our solutions help mid-market and enterprise organizations improve financial performance through benchmarking, invoice audit, vendor negotiation, and ongoing spend optimization across categories like shipping, waste, telecom, and more.

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will play a critical role in building pipeline and driving new business opportunities for SIB | SpendBrain.

This role is focused on identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential clients and connecting them to our sales team. You'll work across outbound and inbound channels to generate interest, uncover opportunities, and help organizations understand how we can deliver measurable cost savings.

You'll also leverage modern tools and data insights to better understand client opportunities and improve outreach effectiveness.

This is a high-impact, entry-level sales role with a clear path to Account Executive and other growth opportunities within the organization.

Identify and research target companies aligned to our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP)

Proactively engage prospects through calls, email, and social outreach

Build and execute structured outreach campaigns with consistent follow-up

Qualify inbound and outbound leads by understanding business needs and potential savings opportunities

Clearly communicate SIB|SpendBrain's value proposition in a concise and compelling way

Schedule qualified meetings for Account Executives

Maintain accurate and up-to-date activity and pipeline data in CRM (Salesforce)

Partner with sales and marketing to refine messaging and improve conversion rates

Actively build your presence on LinkedIn and represent the SIB | SpendBrain brand

Use data insights and internal tools to prioritize outreach and identify high-potential opportunities

Consistently meet or exceed activity and pipeline generation targets

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

02 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles

Strong communication skills clear, confident, and professional

Comfortable engaging with new people and handling rejection

Highly organized with strong attention to detail

Curiosity and desire to understand how businesses operate

Coachable, competitive, and motivated to succeed in a performance-driven environment

Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot) and prospecting tools (LinkedIn, ZoomInfo) is a plus

Consistent, high-quality activity and follow-up

Ability to connect business problems to cost savings opportunities

Strong listening skills and thoughtful questioning

Resilience and a positive mindset

Ability to use data and tools effectively to guide prospecting and outreach decisions

Base Salary: $60,000 $65,000

Bonus: Performance-based (OTE ~$70K$85K)
