Conduct evaluations for various populations utilizing standardized assessments coupled with observational approaches. Create individualized treatment plans dedicated to meeting both immediate and long-term goals for communication, cognitive, and swallowing challenges. Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions concentrating on communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing abilities. Engage multidisciplinary teams including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and family members to forge integrated care plans. Provide educational support to patients and their families to enhance progress beyond clinical sessions. Assist with inpatient speech therapy evaluations as needed, ensuring a seamless continuum of care throughout the rehabilitation process. Maintain meticulous documentation in compliance with all applicable state, federal, and organizational regulations. Commit to ongoing education and collaborative relationships to remain informed on innovations in the field. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), if not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be secured within 30 days of employment. Skills
