Requirements - Degree in speech-language pathology - Valid New York State licensure - BLS certification required
Roles & Responsibilities - Assess and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders - Plan and participate in rehabilitative programs and recommend services - Perform special education assessments and present findings - Recommend and teach alternative/augmentative communication systems - Conduct and present research related to speech/language issues
