Internal Sales Administrative Assistant This position provides comprehensive administrative support to the sales team across multiple product lines. Typical schedule is Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Compensation is $22 - $26/hour depending on experience. Duties and/or Responsibilities (summary of components that make up the job)
Aids with customer follow-up calls under guidance of sales team Assists with inside sales opportunities, COD for sales for multiple groups Supports administrative functions of sales team through preparing proposals and quotes for multiple product lines Assists in identifying sales opportunities using engineering websites, builder exchanges, etc. Assists in tracking project win/loss records, market data, and pricing trends Helps with project setup, tracking material submittals Ensure DOT, MSHA, OSHA, EPA, DNR, safety and environmental regulation compliance. Always work safely and take action to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes, and behaviors. Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (types and extent of knowledge, skills or abilities an incumbent must possess to complete the job responsibilities satisfactorily)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Basic knowledge of construction materials High attention to details and strong organizational skills. Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Able to work on multiple tasks/projects at once
Minimum Requirements (minimum educational, experience, or other relevant job requirements)
2 years' experience in an office or customer facing role Experience with office programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and email Ability to hold and maintain proper licensure and acceptable driving record.
