About

About the role We’re seeking a seasoned leader to own Netflix’s global design and build portfolio for enterprise physical security technology across Streaming, Studios, and Consumer Products & Experiences. The role reports to the Senior Manager, Enterprise Security Technology. Responsibilities Own the global security technology design & build program across Streaming, Studios, CPX, and other business verticals as required, from site assessment through commissioning and handoff. Lead and develop a team of contract PMs; set delivery SLAs/KPIs, coach for performance, and enforce program governance. Be the authority for global standards: define, publish, and maintain security technology design standards, device selection, aligned with a risk-based framework. Decide vendor strategy and sourcing approach; lead RFPs/RFIs; negotiate SOWs and hold suppliers accountable to measurable outcomes. Manage the annual portfolio and budgets forecast, track, and optimize spend; ensure change control and value realization. Oversee detailed design and quality: direct Revit/CAD-based design reviews, submittals, RFIs, redlines, and as-builts; ensure compliance with local code and global standards. Govern project delivery: milestone baselines, critical path, schedule risk, and resource plans; ensure robust testing, commissioning, and final acceptance criteria before handoff. Ensure cloud/SaaS-first integrations and secure‑by‑design practices and integrations with Identity/IT/Network. Partner closely with Workplace, Program Delivery, Studio, Management Services, Portfolio Management, Real Estate, Security Operations, Network Infrastructure, and IT to de‑risk dependencies and deliver predictable outcomes. Establish program and project health reporting with actionable dashboards; communicate clearly with stakeholders at executive and working levels. Qualifications 6+ years leading large‑scale, global, physical security technology programs and portfolios, with direct responsibility for standards, vendors, budgets, and commissioning across multiple regions. Proven experience building and running a program through others: establishing SLAs/KPIs, dashboards, cadence, and performance management for PMs and vendors. Deep familiarity with enterprise physical security tech: Genetec (VMS/ACS), visitor platforms (e.g., Envoy), and cloud/SaaS‑first architectures. Strong design and construction fluency: Revit/CAD workflows, reading and marking architectural/security drawings, submittals/RFIs, and commissioning. Demonstrated success managing CapEx/OpEx portfolios of $10M+ annually across greenfield, TI, and refresh projects globally. Skilled in vendor strategy, negotiations, RFPs, and single‑source justification; experience governing SIs/VARs across multiple regions. Excellent cross‑functional leadership with Network/IT on dependencies (PoE, VLANs, certs, device hardening) and with Workplace/Construction partners. Exceptional communication, executive presence, and stakeholder management; comfortable driving clarity in fast‑paced, high‑ambiguity environments. Willing to travel up to 50%, including international, based on portfolio needs. Nice to have Certifications: PSP, PMP, CPP, RCDD/BICSI, NICET, or manufacturer certs (Genetec). Experience in entertainment/production, studios, or large global tech environments. Exposure to ONVIF, UL/NFPA/TIA standards, ISO 27001/SOC 2 alignment for systems. Benefits and Compensation Compensation is a base salary with no bonus; the range for this role is $215,000.00 – $340,000.00. Netflix provides comprehensive benefits, including health plans, mental health support, a 401(k) retirement plan with employer match, a stock option program, disability programs, health savings & flexible spending accounts, family‑forming benefits, and life & serious injury benefits. Employees accrue paid time off: full‑time hourly employees receive 35 days annually; full‑time salaried employees have immediate flexible time off. Paid leave of absence programs are also available.
